Hi Crofoot50 and TS!!!!! AHHH another year is upon us!.

Crofoot- how's things along the coast?

TS- Still thinking about the idea we talked about last winter? PM or e-mail me. Putting in for time off for next year pretty soon.

Marking trails this Sat. Looks like we may need the sleds to get the job done! Forecasting 6"-12" (if not more) tonight and possibly more next week. Trails open up next week I believe.

Hope everyone uses lots of common sense and respects others and landowners property and has a safe enjoyable season. I know this gets talked about every year, but please, PLEASE slow it down when going around turns and on hills!!! And stay to the right. We all paid lots of hard earned bucks for ours sleds and to truck 'em with todays fuel prices, but let's not make it someone's last. Also, when overtaking another sled, do so in a safe manner for it maybe a youngster, newbie, or a not too experienced rider out enjoying this GREAT sport just as you started out and don't want to spoil it quickly for them. Thank you.

TS- Is there still a rift with the clubs and the state on the hill?

ACZL

PS: Still have a '02 ZL 600 SS for sale if anyone is interested.

I agree & when passing there's no need to skid snow in someones face had that happen to my niece last year when she was riding with us she is 11 & just learning the trails ,hand signals etc., trying to teach her the responsible way to ride & along comes some moron "hot doggin" with his buddies skidding snow in her face .Don't get me wrong my buddies & I go fast on the lakes racing eachother but not on the trails where ya might collide with someone on the other side of the corner or on the other side of the hill.

you're not gonna get the hunters to agree their season is over until Sat. How would I know that I've never hunted in my life...so go figure why trailers are at the Edge and folks are probably just ridin the seasons roads rather than the trails... ya think? OK I'm kidding... but if no one hunts at night guess it would be ok? And I thought I'd write a trail/snow condition report?? rambling now ?
I have a new home and job and won't be as informed as previous years...

There was a decent amount that fell north of the hill over the w/e. Sadly, a near 40ish year old lost his life when he lost control of his sled and hit a tree. Police report states that speed and alcohol were contributing factors.
