I actually have the 3.73 rear gear with the stronger G80 limited slip axle, I can't believe how good the mileage on this truck compared to my old 4.3L Jimmy SLT, but when I checked the numbers against the fuel I added, it's exactly on.
Here was my MPG on the way back for 3 hours without anything on the trailer and cruise control on at 72mph, had some good wind at my tail yesterday...
Keep in mind this is the average, not the instant mpg.
Good Luck with that gas sucking GMC...im gonna buy a HYBRID and save the world one mile per gallon at a time!

At least I'm not trying to pass off as a "truck" but the bu may tow as much as an envoy?
