I was talking to a girl at work and she said her family was from Rockford, IL -- I said, ROCKFORD? I heard it's a sh!thole -- she never lived there, her parents did, so she wanted to know why? All I could tell her is it was just bad news.... sooo -- anyone got any proof?

I had to beat up someone who had it coming at a David Allen Coe concert a few years back and it just happened to be in Rockford, so it must suck.
And EVERYTHING in Illinois sucks... just on different levels. Only 2 things worth a chit to ever come outa Illinois is; Mike's sister and I-39 heading north.

I lived in Rockford fer a few months when I was 5...alls I remember was once I was runnin away cause folks were pissin me off...packed up some cookies, my Buffalo Bill canteen and a couple beers and headed out....got a ways down da road to where there was some big round tanks bout 5 ft high fulla rank smellin krap wit a big arm slowly swingin around in it....as I went ta chunkin sticks and rocks in der, a big mean old guy came outta a building and started chasin and yellin after me.....dropped my BB canteen when I lit out and da fugger got it.....rockford is a sh!thole
