RIGGS, torque is a static measurement. Twice tha torque at barely over in HP means it redlines at half the rpm, sounds exciting all that shifting n such. Now go push on a wall and get excited bout all dat torque yer givin it!
'sides, Uller n I was discussin naked streetbikes, not old fart hogriders n such... we'll do dat when we're bald, overweight and got nothin' but glory days ta talk about. Sukka!!!

You guys and yer fockin Triumphs. I just despised the whole naked bike deal earlier, but they're startin to grow on me. Can't get the picture of a smashed up Gixxer or CBR or ZXR or whatever that someone has turned into a 'stunter' out of my mind.

Yeah snoboy, you'd a had ta be in the middle of the convo ta understand there killer. I'm a fan of the Ducati Monster but as cool as the Italian bikes are to look at, ride even, etc... the reason I steered the convo away from the Italian bikes is their service cycles. That 1098 needs a valve lash adj at like 2,000 miles, prolly a $1,000 service ta boot!!
