Actually Chicago is in an economic down turn, business is down, jobs down, school funding down, no new revenues, need the olympics.
Cook county Illinios, where Chicago is located has one of the highest rates of declining population in the country.
Working in Hyde Park, home to Barak today, and you should see the homes around the University of Chicago campus. Wow! The coach houses put my little pos shack to shame!
