And I have "issues with BOTH parties. Because the republicans have been in power for the last 8 yrs., I have many more issues with them than the dems. Here are a "few" examples.

Dems,... Anti-american immigration policy, Nancy POSlosi not allowing a vote on opening up drilling is unconchinable, On demand abortion.

Reps,... Anti-american immigration policy, A rep president that was hellbent on attacking Iraq, and used ANY excuse to do it. Republicans in general that now say "mistakes were made".

In "THIS" election, I don't like Biden or McCain because they represent whats WRONG with Washington. BOTH have good qualities. But BOTH have "washington" imbedded into their souls.(they're part of the problem)
As far as Sara Palin goes,.... She seems to be a smart person. Theres hope for her. (as long as she tells the political stratagists where to go) I do have some heartburn over her having 5 kids, one 17 and pregnant, and a 5mo. old with downs syndrome, and her persuing a political career instead of caring for her family.
Now Obama. I have family near Aurora. (you know where that is) And They're republican. They told me about Obama before he ever heald office. They said things like "This guy is smart", "This guy is going places". And the biggee, Remember the name Obama. He WILL run for president some day." In recent conversation, they said they didn't expect it to be so soon. I figure Obama has just enough "washington" experience to know how fuked up it really is. I believe he is very smart. And I believe one of the MOST IMPORTANT things our next president HAS to do, is repair our divided country.
Obama might not be able to bring republicans and democrats together, but I KNOW none of the others will.
