I couldn't agree more Jerry. Moyle Racing is a 1st class operation all the way around. They have bent over backwards helping us get started in Champ. They are a hard working group of people and that has lent a lot more to their success than anything. I wish them the best of luck

Great Move / bad move???
It all depends from which camp you are.
There is certainly some reasons that we don't know to explain why he switched to SKI-DOO. MOYLE RACING took a major decision: this will be good for the sport. Many spectators will want to see how Gary will perform and the oval community will benefit out of it.
One positive thing for the EASTERN PRO TOUR: usually, the "TOP GUNS" from each manufacturer want to win Valcourt. Last year, we missed Gary. This year, I am sure he will want to add his name on the list of the "STARS" whose name shine on the Valcourt's board of winners.
PLUS, this year, with the celebration of the SKI-DOO 50th anniversary, it will be a very special GRAND-PRIX DE VALCOURT.
I would not be surprised to see additional contengency from SKI-DOO???
Good luck to you Gary,
Marcel Fontaine

Oh come on now no need to bash a man's family on the internet none the less, at least say it to his face.. I was at Hay Days a few years back and Andy Moyle not knowing me at all (Im just a fan of ovals) started to talk with me about racing and then offered me support if I wanted to start the Formula 500 class, he also offered me beers back at their trailer... Thats the type of people the Moyles are.
Makes me sick to see you leave Cat Gary but whatever thats just a brand name! Best of luck and seems I will have to be cheering on a Ski- Doo now.

Can someone explain to me what happens with John Hooper now? Will he stay Arctic Cat or does he go with the Moyle Team as well??

Hooper announced a while back he was going to work with most manu's engines. Not sure if there is still an affiliation with Moyle.
The Moyle's have been nothing but friendly and helpful to me during my short ice racing endeavor.

There was talk at the cookie jar (my source wouldn't think about fruits or veggies) that John may be building PJ's motors once again.
I wish the Moyle team the best of luck this season! I think change is good, hopefully great for this team. Always a fun group to be around and as helpfull as any team out there.
Looking forward to seeing the action this season myself!

Nasty sounds like sour grapes to me? Why do you take the change of motors so personal??
I was talking to a few of my boy's and they told me that Steve Payne at Polar Performance was doing Moyles motors. Pretty sure that's who does Samsons and Weatherills motors. What do I know I've been in England for the last 4 years. If I was going to put a package together I would try Darcy R. David

Dave the rotax motors and pipes for Samson and Weatherill as well as my motors were ported by my brother Mike Gifford. I did all the dyno work on Steves (Polar Performance) dyno.
Just sos ya know!
