Cory are you going to run a Rotax power plant?
I think it is now a requirement if you want to win. lol
It was pretty easy to see that Gary Moyles number #6 powered by Hooper was no match for Brian Bewcyks Wahl sled powered by Rotax out of the hole and down the straights, and we all know it wasn't the driver, as Gary is a 2 time champ, and is one of the best.
It looks like a Wahl chasis powered by a Rotax is the way to go for 2009.
No disrespect meant to John Hooper as his record stands for itself.
I just think some of the Competition have finally caught up to him, and you can never go wrong with a R-O-T-A-X, just ask Dave and Terry Wahl what they had under there hood every time they won E.R.

Doug, my guess is Corey is the new Arctic driver and I'm thinking a modified LRM Suzuki powering his sled this winter. Most likely LRM pipes and set of Olav's to for the first race in Beausejour. Just a guess tho. If its true it's good for ovals as we need a few different colors on the starting line.

Does Hooper still make sleds?
If so, will this Corey be running a Hooper sled?
Does PJ still run a Hooper sled or does he run a Wahl sled?

I don't think John has built a sled for sale for a few years. Corey will be running a Wahl sled from what I hear, and PJ's guys have built their own chassis for a couple of years now. They are very similar to a Hooper Chassis (ie they start with a ZR Bulkhead)
Would LRM be using the Laydown Cat engine?

I think my spys are correct, Corey will be running an arctic prepped engine this winter. My spys say I'm wrong with the LRM engine builder, they seem to think more like the engine builder is from the east coast. I guess we'll just have to wait for an announcement from someone, hopefully soon!!
