that there may not be any snowmobiles at XGames? Since WPSA still owns the rights to XGames and therefore all entries must go through them. And the fee to promote an XGames qualifier is outrageougly high.

I read this in Supertrax.

slowcross blows anyway. They should try to promote a REAL extreme sled race for X-games. I'm sure they can make an ice oval out there somewhere.

Since the OEM's pay for the air time on the TV Contracts, I would bet there is an exclusion in the "rights" being held by WPSA for the entries and qualifiers. The OEMS really control who and what goes to the X games and always has

They should do the Xgames in Alaska and film the Iron Dog from air and land capturing the worlds toughest sled race.

"In another weird twist, heirs of the WPSA still own rights to the X-Games and therefore all entries must go through the now mostly drfunct WPSA. We've spoken to promoters recently informed the fee to promote an X-Game qualifier is in the stratosphere making the entire process and subsequent X-Games themselves a problematic deal for the OEM's. Nothing gets exposure for snowmobile racing like the ESPN X-Games but with bad blood, broken promises, and split relationships as a result of the aforementioned events, we thinkg ESPN might be wise to look more closely at who is in the driver's seat."
