Cause George Bush had the same policy as Bill Clinton. I read abook by Fred Barnes and in it he talked about George Bush and how he wanted home ownership for as many as possible and also wanted America to stay safe after 9/11. Those were 2 accomplishments he apparently wanted the most. Even though he was warned by John McCain and others about FM & FM he was still more concerned with home ownership regardless of the warnings of the mess these sleazy loans were going to cause in the future. And don't forget about all these big money folks who thought they were going to buy a multi million dollar place, pay the interest on it for a few years and then turn it over and make a killing on the investment. But apparently some of them got stuck with em when the bubble burst and a mortgage that was more than the house was worth. If ya gamble and ya lose..............tuff SH!T!
