Interesting that the faith/hope and vote from home groups are part of the IAF which like ACORN is founded using Saul Alinsky teachings and principles. Alinsky’s principles are deeply unethical, however. He teaches, for example, that in politics, the ends justify the means. Specifically, he teaches organizers to seek political power by any means that accomplishes that end.

The leaders and organizers of the Industrial Areas Foundation build organizations whose primary purpose is power - the ability to act - and whose chief product is social change.

Faith-based institutions are evangelized into liberationist theory through a variety of mechanisms

I know I know I am starting to sound like a lunatic, but the more I delve into Obama the more scared I get. Hell now I am kicking myself for not pushing for Hillary!

Yes it's very scary. Even scarier yet is that they're pushing the absentee ballot. What a lot of people don't realize is they don't even COUNT the absentee ballots unless the votes come really close adn they have to use it for a tie breaker or something like that. THis election's scary. (And I voted democrat for the first time in many many years during the primary... I knew I probably wouldn't vote it in the primary, but I figured I'd SO MUCH rather have Hillary back in the white house than Obama (She did an okay job when she was in it before... you DON'T think BIll did all that work, do you?)

Guess I should add that I voted democrat because it was obvious McCain would get the nomination... I figured if the dems were going to elect someone, I'd rather it be Hillary than Obama...

Wanna be scared some more? THey're allowing "early voting" -- it started yesterday. All you need is to bring a utility bill and a photo id to the board of elections and you can vote early. The news anchors were joking around saying "Vote early and often" but it's not so funny...it's true... it's fairly easy to fool them into letting people vote and vote again. UGH!

Gee Sue with Ohio's early voting policy Rick and I could vote 7 times each, since we have 7 utility bill addresses!

Yeah, its scary. ANd they pulled all the new voting machines because someone claimed cell phones could interfere with someone's vote using the electronic machines, so we're back to hanging chads. I don't think governor Strickland's all that much better than "F" for Failure Taft was.... ALTHOUGH he did reinstitute the reciprococity agreement between Ohio and PA so we can ride in PA on our $8 for three year registrations. (Pa's is $20 for 2 years).
