DTD are your say'n that doo built the four tech to compete specifically against four stroke yams??? As a business why would they shoot for the nytron market and not a larger market like say an Apex or Vector???
The Etec is fastly become'n a big turd in the shadow of their 4 tok thats why it will tank unless they seriously do sumpt'n to beef it up...

Etec is an awesome technology for 2 strokes...about 10 more horse out of that more wouldn't hurt tho.

Rob....Doo has the Etec to compete with the vector and the 800r to compete with the Apex. They think they have the Vector and the Apex covered. I think Doo was pretty clever to counter the Nytro which is the sled that is probably the most appealing to most non-Yam riders.
I got the sense talking to some dealers that their spring orders for 4tecs were tiny compared to e-tecs and 800r.

Anyone that talks about a sled manufacturer that builds sleds for profit like it is a single person and refers to said manufacturer as a hypocrit is borderline insane.
"Ski-Doo said that they think 2 strokes are awesome, and then they build a 4 stroke and they are big dum jerks fer making me sad in my pants and grrrr I am seriously lacking logic and common business sense.... grrrr"

Of course it makes business sense to build a four stroke...but somebody has to call the doo "2 strokes only" guys to the carpet.
Why would you build a four stroke if your two strokes were superior??
BTW..it was ski-doo who said 2 strokes were the way to go...not me....haven't you seen any of their 2 vs 4 videos???

What really makes me laugh is unless your last name is Hibbert, you internet racers couldn't tell the difference in weight from either the 1200 e-tec or the Nytro from a comparable 2 stroke. 99% of you are trail riders......
