The Bur Oak is one of the slowest growing tree's... in its younger yrs it will grow up to 1' per yr. up to 20 yrs. and slows much after that yet living up to 2-300 yrs.
This longevity is in part because of its resilience to fire (think bark) and long tap root to be able to ride out any type of drought.
And that is why you will see a Bur Oak all by itself out in the middle of nowhere, the rest were weak and perished.

The Obama Tax Plan
The top 5% will pay 131 billion dollars more in taxes. What he didn't say is that 3 out of every 4 busineses who are in this 5% are small businesses filing on the individual tax table! The very businesses that we need to generate new jobs and stimulate the economy!
This study was done by the Urban Institute, which is a nonpartisan think tank and by the Brookings Institution which is a non-profit public policy organization which is considered liberal to centrist.

Some slytherin individuals even have multipal small businesses to suck more than 1 tit at a time.

obama did not win the debate. I think mccain connected. Was it a game changer, nope, but obama was the stuttering idiot he usually is without his prompter. And the liberal morons each it up. Can't wait for 4 years of handouts, socialism, runaway spending, class warfare, and less jobs. Should be a good time.

That wasn't a town hall meeting..........that was a farce! Mr liberal NBC knew all the questions ahead of time and picked those he knew Mr. dumb dumb could answer without a teleprompter. And McCain stuck with the format and didn't carry on when he wanted, but dumb dumb cries about not being able to counter something said by McCain, so Mr. media says OK, but we'll have to allow senator McCain the same opportunity. STICK WITH THE FORMAT RULES Mr. Brokaw. Don't be changing them mid-way through the debate. When do we get a debate with Hannity or Limbaugh asking the questions? Fair & balanced.
