Just a little question MC, Why do the Americans on the left and right coast seem to buy more non American cars than the Americans that live in the heartland? Seems kinda unamerican doesn't it?

My sister and bro in law work there. I just heard on the news they were laying off about 100 folks. The paper industry here is struggling big time with several thousand jobs gone in the last few years so buy more ok.

Rick27 the east and west coast buy foreign because there not UAW states and they do not get the friends and family discounts like the midwest. plus there smarter they shop around and look at all brands of cars and obviously they have figured out that the US car's are not what they want. in the midwest they go right to a Gm or ford dealer and buy they do not even look at anything else. of course the midwest people also buy alot of trucks and SUV's. the midwest cannot keep the US autos companies in business.
