Na jus kiddin, I am still a couch potato, I walk like an old man.
i found out the took a hammer and chisel to the pelvis.
Have feeling in my pinky and ring finger due to nerve damage.
Be lucky if I make it to the Tride which I trally wanted to attend this year so I am bummed out.
Put some miles on for me

Nerves take a lot longer to heal than the bone. Took me two years to get the feeling back in my pinky and ring fingers and I still have episodes where they just move on their own. (No, not my middle finger, although I should blame it on that).
And I wish you would have said something about using your pelvic bone. I've had friends that went that route and when they asked me if I wanted to use my own or a cadaver bone, in my morphine induced haze I said, "No way are you putting another hole in my body... one's enough!" So I have a cadaver bone for an elbow cap... the rest is metal.
Good Luck Spudster. It'll heal faster now that you've had the surgery, but the hip/pelvis will actually take a bit longer.
