I talked to Céline, Jacques' wife.
Jacques is at Sherbrooke hospital. He has a fracture of the L-2 vertebra. NO damage to the spinal cord.
He also has a fracture of the iliac bone.
They also found a "little" lung perforation, not severe.
Jacques didn't want to stay at the hospital but they kept him for the night. He already was thinking about the next race in Haliburton Ont. in 2 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Should have more infos tomorrow,

I found this Web address which show the accident. Check the video of different images of Valcourt but at 1 min. 50 sec. (out of 2 min .27 sec.), you will see the accident (sorry, it's in French):

Looks like he went for quite a ride. Hope he recovers well. Kind of hard to tell what happened in the video something blocks the view.

You can see Dustin's body & inside ski lifting up from a bump halfway through 4, which probably washed him up into JV. The same thing happened to him while passing Travis in Friday's final, taking the low line in 4 with the bump that tends to be there.
Hard to say if their lines crossed or what, but either way best wishes for Jacques to heal. I'm sure we'll see him back sooner than we expect, if he has any choice in the matter.

Once again Jaques defies the laws of physics and proves that he is super-human. Sorry to hear about the crash, sounds like the sled was a rocket ship up there. Glad to hear your OK. Be careful and protect that spine....turns out they're fragile.
